PUTRAJAYA: The price of premium grade petrol RON97 will be increased to RM2 per litre from Sept 1 onwards, 20sen more per litre, when RON95 becomes available nationwide, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
RON95 petrol and Euro 2M grade diesel is expected to the market by Sept 1. Ismail’s predecessor, Datuk Shahrir Samad, had said in March that the prices for both upgraded fuels would be the same as the previous grades.
The higher grade RON95 will replace RON92 petrol but will be sold at the same price as the lower-grade petrol.
Finally, it comes to the end the long awaiting Proton MPV will be called Proton Exora. The Exora is based on the name of the Ixora flower, with the tagline “Keriangan Keluarga”.
“Exora” was the winning entry in Proton’s nationwide MPV naming contest which began in September last year. The month long contest attracted 251,763 entries. The name was given by Norsholihan Bt Abdul Eanich of which she will get 1 unit of the Proton Exora when it is launched this April.
Proton Exora MPV will be tagged under RM80,000 and available in 5 colours Genetic Silver, Tranquility Black, Blue Haze, Pyrite Brown and Gaia Blue.

In 2012 Audi will unveil the third generation RS6. This indeed will be sold on the US market and will be powered by a 5.0-liter V10 engine. RS6 project manager Jens Koch called the third-generation model "revolutionary" and said it will be "far more RennSport than anything previously developed."
In Europe, the engine choices will be a 112 hp 16-valve, 1.6-liter and 140 hp 1.8-liter gasoline engines as well as 150 hp 2.0-liter turbo diesel. Although the engine choices have not yet been announced for the U.S. spec Cruzes, a four-cylinder turbocharged, direct-injection 1.4-liter is rumored that could deliver up to 40 mpg in highway driving.
This 200 bhp car offers unexpected levels of performance combined with significantly reduced CO2 emissions: 109 g/km in the combined cycle, or zero in electric only mode!
The C6 Exclusive, which is powered by a 3.0l V6 engine offering 215bhp at 6,000 rpm and 290Nm of torque at 3,752rpm, is certainly striking, with design lines that blends elements of coupé and saloon.
A long wheelbase and flowing, aerodynamic profile lends the RM398,000 vehicle massive presence; the windows hug the curve of the roof arch, which in turn blends smoothly into the rear pillars in a subtle nod to coupé styling, an effect that is taken one step further by the frameless doors.

As for the Grand C4 Picasso seven-seater MPV, this five-star Euro NCAP rated vehicle is powered by a 2.0l 16-valve VVT engine putting out 143bhp and 200Nm, with a four-speed auto tranny in tow.
Plenty of glass - and light - on this one, with large windows and panoramic windscreen and sunroof helping to make things bright and spacious. Lots of usable configurations behind as well, from the three individual second row seats and the two individual third row seats, all of which are retractable.
Storage aplenty too, from the four large enclosed compartments in the dash to the tables/storage pockets on the rear of the second row seats. Other features and aids include an automatic parking brake, dual zone climate control with air vents for all three seating rows, ESP, cruise control with speed limiter and multiple airbags, all of which come as standard. Ten body colour choices abound.
